INCI name: Vanilla Planifolia Fruit Extract

About: Extracted from the cured pods of the Vanilla planifolia orchid using a clean CO2 process, this dense botanical extract is valued for its naturally occurring antioxidant content.

It is used in balm and oil formulations to support the overall ingredient profile without adding fragrance-focused positioning.

Vitamin E Tocopherol. Antioxidant skincare ingredient.

Vitamin E

INCI name: Tocopherol / Mixed Tocopherols

About: Derived from natural plant sources, Vitamin E (Mixed Tocopherols) is included in oil-based formulations for its antioxidant properties. It helps protect fragile botanical oils from oxidation and supports product freshness over time.

Colloidal oats

INCI name: Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Flour

About: Finely milled oat kernel, dispersed in water to form a milky, soothing colloidal suspension. Colloidal oats are a traditional skincare ingredient valued for their gentle, comforting character in cosmetic formulations.

They contribute a soft, smooth feel and a subtle grainy texture to rinse-off and soak products. They are commonly used in baths, soaks and cleansers for a mild, non-perfumed bathing experience.

Kawakawa – New Zealand

INCI name: Piper Excelsum (Kawakawa) Leaf Extract

About: Native to the New Zealand bush, Kawakawa is a culturally significant plant recognised by its heart-shaped leaves. It has been used for generations in traditional practices and is valued today for its distinctive botanical character.

The leaves contain volatile oils and lignans, including myristicin, elemicin and diayangambin. Our slow infusion process captures the plant’s aromatic profile in a carrier oil without harsh solvents.

Mānuka infused oil – New Zealand

INCI name: Leptospermum Scoparium (Mānuka) Leaf Extract

About: Harvested from the native New Zealand bush, Mānuka foliage is recognised for its distinctive botanical character. This extract is created by slow-steeping wild-harvested leaves and twigs in a carrier oil rather than using steam-distilled essential oil.

The gentle maceration captures lipid-soluble compounds in a non-volatile form and adds a distinctive botanical note to oil-based formulations.

Calendula

INCI name: Calendula Officinalis (Marigold) Flower Extract

About: Macerated from the vibrant orange petals of the Pot Marigold, Calendula is a golden botanical infusion valued for its gentle character in cosmetic formulations.

This whole-flower extract captures the plant’s natural compounds in an oil base. It adds a soft, velvety feel and contributes to the overall botanical profile of the formula.

Candelilla Wax. Vegan-friendly skincare wax alternative

Candelilla wax

INCI name: Euphorbia Cerifera

About: Derived from the leaves of the wild Candelilla shrub found in northern Mexico, this vegetable wax is a vegan alternative to traditional beeswax.

In formulation, Candelilla wax helps bind oils and butters into a stable balm. Its high melting point contributes to a firm, smooth texture.

INCI name: Adansonia Digitata Seed Oil

About: Cold-pressed from baobab seeds, this golden oil has a mild, faintly nutty aroma and a silky texture that adds slip and cushion to cosmetic formulations.

It is commonly used in beard and body care products for a smooth feel and soft, non-greasy finish.

INCI name: Borago Officinalis Seed Oil

About: Cold-pressed from borage flower seeds, this golden oil has a mild, subtly earthy and nutty aroma. It is valued in cosmetic formulations for its light texture and smooth, non-greasy feel.

INCI name: Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil

About: Cold-pressed from Ricinus communis seeds, this dense, viscous oil has a mild, neutral aroma and adds body to cosmetic formulations.

It contributes to a substantial feel, smooth finish and soft, glossy appearance in balms and oils.

INCI name: Carthamus Tinctorius Seed Oil
